Citizen Portal

The Hampstead Police Department now offers a Citizen Portal with certain services to better serve the community. This portal currently features forms for the following options: Vacation Watches, Keyholders, and At Risk Residents. All of these forms are mobile-friendly, and please include as much information 

 

  • Vacation Watches: Fill out this form to request a Vacation Check of your residence while you are out of Town for an extended period. You will then be contacted to confirm the details of your submission, and HPD will make every effort to check on your property daily while you are out of Town, pending priority calls for service. You will receive an automated e-mail confirmation each time an officer performs a check of your property.

 

  • Keyholders: This feature is for business and property owners who would like to provide contact details for their property. Enter your contact information here for our records, so that in the event of an emergency, officers will have the most up-to-date information accessible to them on the scene. Additionally, you will receive an automated e-mail alert annually to provide any necessary updates.

 

  • At Risk Residents: This feature is designed to gather and store information on at-risk individuals who may need special assistance. If you are an at-risk resident or the primary/emergency contact, please consider entering your information here for our records. In the event of an emergency, we will have quick access to your details. This function can be beneficial for children and the elderly community, as well as any individual with a cognitive impairment.

 

It is important to note that this online portal service is exclusively for the residents, visitors, and business owners within the municipal limits of the Town of Hampstead. If you reside outside of the municipality, please get in touch with your local law enforcement agency for police services. If you are unsure of the appropriate law enforcement agency, call Police Dispatch at 410-386-2860, and someone will direct you.
