Diane Barrett

Diane Barrett, Council Member

Diane moved from Easton, MD to Hampstead in 1992, and resides in Kimberly Village with her two children, Nathan and Amanda. She earned her accounting degree from Towson State University and has been employed in the accounting profession for 30 years. She is currently employed by Questar Properties in Pikesville. Diane volunteered as a community advocate against the closure of North Carroll High School. Subsequently, she served on Hampstead's Board of Zoning Appeals for two years and the town's Planning and Zoning Commission for one year before being elected to Town Council in 2021. Diane will work for the economic development of Hampstead while maintaining its quaint, small town atmosphere.

Her area of oversight is the Hampstead Farmers Market. 

Her term expires in May 2025.
