Position Objectives:
The Town of Hampstead is now hiring for a full-time Police Officer. This role offers a competitive salary and benefits. Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of police duties essential to the preservation of law and order in the Town of Hampstead; ensures public safety; controls traffic, and responds to calls for service; performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- 21 Years of Age
- U.S. Citizen
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Successful applicants must be capable of passing an oral interview and comprehensive background investigation, including a polygraph test & psychological screening, as well as a physical & drug screen.
Desirable Training and Experience:
Entry-Level - none
Certified - Current MPCTC certification as a Police Officer in accordance with the Article 41, Section 4-201 of the Annotated Code of Maryland.
