Deborah Painter, Council Member

Deb Painter moved from Reisterstown to Hampstead in 1999.  She graduated from the University of Delaware and has been employed by Penguin Random House since 2005.  Deb and her husband have two daughters and two mixed breed rescue dogs.

She moved to Hampstead for the small town feel and the excellent school system.  Deb’s passions are to continue making Hampstead one of the best places to raise a family, ensuring the safety of our residents, along with economic development that parallels what we all love about Hampstead.

She served on the Town’s Planning and Zoning Board before being appointed to serve on the Town Council.  Deb’s area of Council oversight responsibility is Council Liaison on the Planning and Zoning Commission.

Her term expires in May 2027.
