Water Reporting
We are committed to ensuring that our residents have access to clean, safe, and reliable drinking water. As part of our dedication to transparency and accountability, we are pleased to announce the availability of the Consumer Confidence Report (CCR), Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule 5 (UCMR5) water testing results, and our Statement of All Non-Lead Service Lines for your review.
Thank you for trusting us with your water supply. Together, we are ensuring a healthier and safer community.
Water Quality Report (CCR)
Each year we present an annual Water Quality Report (Consumer Confidence Report) as required by the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). The information provided reflects data gathered during the previous year's testing. This report is designed to provide details about where your water comes from, what it contains, and how it compares to standards set by regulatory agencies.
We are committed to providing you with this information as part of our Mission Statement.
UCMR5 Results
Beginning in 2023, we will also be releasing the UCMR5 results on our website, offering valuable insights into the safety and quality of our water supply. The Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule 5 (UCMR5) is a crucial program initiated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to assess the presence of contaminants in drinking water sources across the United States.
We understand the importance of transparency and keeping our community informed about the water they consume.
EPA's Lead and Copper Rule Revisions
The Town of Hampstead has completed the service line inventory required by U.S. EPA’s Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (initial inventory due October 16, 2024).
Through completing a records review and field investigative methods, Town of Hampstead has determined it has no Lead or Galvanized Requiring Replacement (GRR) service lines in its distribution system. This includes all system-owned and customer-owned portions of all service lines regardless of actual or intended use. The full inventory is available upon request.
