Settlement Requests

A final water reading is required for any property within the Town’s municipal limits or on the Town's public water system prior to settlement. Properties located outside the municipal limits without Town water do not require a final water reading.

 

Final reads are typically performed on the last business day before closing. A final water bill will then be generated and emailed to the requesting settlement company.  There is a $30 administrative fee. Please allow at least 3 business days prior to settlement for staff to process request.

After a property within municipal limits (or on the Town's water system) has gone to settlement and the final water bill has been paid in full, a Town Release may be requested. No Town Release will be granted until the final bill is generated and paid.

 

Properties located outside of the Town's Municipal Limits/not on the Town's water system do not require a Final Water Reading.
