Dave Unglesbee

David Unglesbee, Council Member

Dave was elected to the Town Council in May 2015. He moved to Hampstead from Howard County in 2003. He lives in Westwood Park with his wife, Danielle. He is the current and founding President of the Westwood Park Homeowners' Association.

Dave has served the Town on the Board of Zoning Appeals and on the Main Street Committee. He has served Carroll County as a Chief Election Judge.

He graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. He works as a Manager for C&A Automotive in Eldersburg. He also is a Graduate of the Academy of Excellence in Local Governance from the University of Maryland.

Dave has worked with the Town's Santa's House and Hampstead Police Department's Shop with a Cop. He planned and built The Gardens at Richards Family Cemetery here in Town on Willow Street.

Dave has also worked with the Maryland Municipal League. He has served MML as Vice Chair of the Conference Planning Committee. He is a two term and current member of the MML's Board of Directors.

Dave's area of Council oversight responsibility is preserving the Town's historic past and the Town parks. He is most proud of planning and executing the renovation of the War Memorial Park and the construction of its new Amphitheater.

His term expires in May 2027.
